The original title of the film was The Outlaw, Outlaw. The Italian distribution
thought about it and decided that the stage presence of Jane Russell placed a stronger title. So
: the Outlaw .
A good crap title, because the story did not allow even 1 cm. of uncovered skin, let alone style coups de théâtre the famous scene in which Georgie comesichiama advantage of hypothermia in Georgia and slap you naked under the cover together with that caterpillar.
